BRS organises 2K run in Wanaparthy to mark 10 years of district formation
The BRS Wanaparthy unit organised a 2K run on Sunday to mark 10 years since the district was formed on October 11, 2016. Former Minister S Niranjan Reddy joined students, youth and party workers in the anniversary celebrations.

Wanaparthy: The BRS Wanaparthy unit organised a 2K Run from Polytechnic College to Ambedkar Crossroads on Sunday to mark the completion of 10 years since the formation of Wanaparthy district on October 11, 2016.
The BRS unit expressed gratitude to party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao for creating the district. Former Minister S Niranjan Reddy participated in the run along with students, youth, prominent personalities and development enthusiasts.
After paying tributes to the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar at Ambedkar Crossroads, Niranjan Reddy distributed sweets to students and youth who had gathered for the event and joined the celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, Niranjan Reddy lauded the formation of 33 districts, new revenue divisions and necessary mandals, stating that the measures aimed to decentralise administration and improve ease of governance.
He said Telangana had prospered under the leadership of K Chandrashekhar Rao, with its administration exploring new and innovative approaches.
Niranjan Reddy said the formation of Wanaparthy district had brought several amenities and improved people’s standard of living, adding that the public appreciated these changes.
During the run, he greeted people along the route and conveyed his wishes on the district’s 10th anniversary. He later shared breakfast with party workers and members of a walking group.
