BRS protests Industrial Transformation Policy ahead of GHMC general body meeting
Ahead of the GHMC general body meeting, BRS leaders staged a massive protest against the Industrial Transformation Policy in Hyderabad. Marshals removed placards, and Mayor Vijaya Lakshmi highlighted city development. Tributes were paid to departed leaders during the session.

Hyderabad: Ahead of the GHMC general body meeting, the BRS party held a massive protest against the Industrial Transformation Policy near GHMC office in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
A rally was organised from MLA Quarters, Aadarsh Nagar, and continued up to the GHMC head office.
BRS MLAs, senior party leaders, and supporters took part.
Mild tension prevailed at the GHMC meeting hall (Panwar Hall) after marshals entered and collected placards from BRS and BJP corporators, minutes before the general body meeting commenced.
GHMC Mayor G Vijaya Lakshmi addressed the meeting hall, highlighting that during the five-year tenure, roads, drainage systems, and other amenities were developed. She added that the state government is making all efforts to make Hyderabad a world-class city.
Homage was paid to departed leaders, including BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath and corporators, and Telangana poet and lyricist Andesree.
BJP corporators demanded to start the general body meeting with the ‘Vandemataram’ patriotic song. The Mayor hinted that the general body meeting would be held next week as well.
