Hyderabad: A fresh political controversy erupted after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met Analog founder and CEO Alex Kipman to discuss an AI-enabled traffic management system for Hyderabad, with the BRS questioning the government’s choice of technology partner.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister asked Kipman to submit a proposal for an AI-driven urban traffic management system capable of improving signal coordination and easing congestion.
Seizing on the development, BRS social media convener Manne Krishank alleged on X that Kipman had resigned from Microsoft in 2022 following allegations of executive misconduct, including verbal abuse and sexual harassment made by female colleagues. He questioned the propriety of the Chief Minister publicly shaking hands with a person who was forced to exit Microsoft following allegations of inappropriate workplace behaviour.
