BRS signature campaign gains momentum for Secunderabad Cantonment merger
The BRS’s one-lakh signature campaign for merging civilian areas of Secunderabad Cantonment into GHMC has collected over 74,000 signatures. Party supporters, RWAs, and shopkeepers are actively participating, with door-to-door campaigns underway in several SCB wards.

Hyderabad: A one lakh signature campaign launched by the BRS for merger of civilian areas of the Secunderabad Cantonment into GHMC has gained momentum.
BRS official spokesperson, Manne Krishank, who is in-charge for the signature campaign, said to date, a total of 74,852 signatures were collected from citizens of the Cantonment. He said BRS party supporters and leaders took responsibility and visited door-to-door for the campaign.
He said they covered SCB wards of 1-Bowenpally, 2-Rasoolpura, 3-Karkhana, 5-Mahendra Hills and 7-Trimulgherry, and that in the remaining 6 and 8 wards, the campaign was in full swing.
Apart from citizens, resident welfare associations (RWAs) and shopkeepers also extended their support and voluntarily took part in the signature campaign and supported SCB merger, said Krishank.
