Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao and party leader RS Praveen Kumar came down heavily on the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) for including a casteist question in the recent Group-3 examination.

Praveen Kumar criticised the question, which referred to caste hierarchies, calling it a reflection of entrenched discrimination. “No wonder caste hierarchy and discrimination continue to flourish in India even during this ‘Amrit Kaal’ after independence,” he remarked.

He questioned Revanth Reddy and the Congress government over its commitment to social justice. “If terms like ‘high caste’ and ‘low caste’ appear in official exams, how can we expect true social equity?” he asked, accusing the government of hollow rhetoric on integrated education.

Responding to Praveen Kumar’s post, KT Rama Rao felt that the incident was extremely shameful and disgusting, with TGPSC operating and promoting such castiest agenda. He demanded the Commission to apologise to people of Telangana.
