BRS team including former Ministers inspects Jurala project crest gate issues
Former Ministers V Srinivas Goud and C Lakshma Reddy led a BRS team to inspect Jurala project, expressing concern over gate No. 9 issues and criticising the government for delay in repairs ahead of the monsoon
Gadwal: Former Ministers V Srinivas Goud and C Lakshma Reddy on Thursday visited the Priyadarshini Jurala Project in Jogulamba Gadwal district to assess its condition, following reports of operational issues with crest gate number 9.
Later, while interacting with media persons, the leaders expressed concern over the persisting problems with the dam’s crest gates. Srinivas Goud criticised the Congress government for failing to undertake timely repairs ahead of the monsoon season.
The BRS delegation interacted with project officials and emphasised the need for immediate restoration of the damaged gates to avoid flood-related risks.
Former MLAs A Venkateshwar Reddy and Chittem Rammohan Reddy were also part of the inspection team that reviewed the situation and urged quick action from the authorities.
