BRS to hold meetings on Musi Riverfront project victims, students’ problems
The party leadership has planned crucial meetings with the party leaders to discuss and strategise its action plan in this regard over the next couple of days.

Hyderabad: The main opposition BRS is upping the ante against the State government over the proposed Musi River beautification project and also its negligence towards students’ issues. The party leadership has planned crucial meetings with the party leaders to discuss and strategise its action plan in this regard over the next couple of days.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao is scheduled to chair a meeting regarding the Musi River project at Telangana Bhavan here on Wednesday. Elected representatives especially MLAs and MLCs of Hyderabad region will attend the meeting to discuss about the challenges faced by the residents of Musi Riverfront Development Project areas as well as the affected families whose houses have been demolished. They are expected to come up with an action plan to thwart the State government’s attempts to trouble locals further.
Another meeting with BRS Vidyarthi (BRSV) students wing representatives will be held at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday. Rama Rao will participate in the meeting which will be attended by the State executive body members, district coordinators and around 10 representatives from each of 119 Assembly constituencies. The meeting will discuss the burning issues of students including condition of residential welfare schools, and non-payment of fee reimbursement and scholarship dues among others.
