Sangareddy: BRS MLA Chintha Prabhakar called upon the residents of Tallapally to support Sreeja, who filed her nomination for the sarpanch post and then got married.
Sreeja, an SC woman pursuing her final year of B Tech in a private engineering college in Narsapur, had been in a relationship with Chandrashekhar Goud, who had intended to contest for the same post. With the seat reserved for SCs, Chandrashekhar encouraged her to enter the fray. She submitted her nomination and a few hours later, both got married.
Prabhakar visited the couple’s home in Tallapally, where he interacted with local BRS leaders and asked them to mobilise support for the young candidate. He assured the newly-wed couple of full support in the election.
