BSB organises awareness seminar on National Education vision in Hyderabad
The Bhartiya Shiksha Board organised an awareness seminar in Hyderabad, highlighting its vision of integrating traditional knowledge with modern education. Over 100 schools participated, while officials emphasised alignment with NEP 2020 and value-based holistic learning frameworks.

Hyderabad: Bhartiya Shiksha Board (BSB), a National School Education Board established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, recently organised a seminar in Hyderabad to create awareness among the schools and community in general about the vision, objectives and significance of BSB in newly emerging landscape of India’s School Education system.
Dr N P Singh (Retd IAS), Chairman of BSB, while delivering the keynote address, elaborated on the mission of the Board to integrate India’s traditional knowledge system with modern education and emphasised the importance of value-based, holistic learning aligned with the national aspirations, a press release said.
The representatives from over 100 schools, including primary, secondary, and higher secondary institutions from Hyderabad and nearby regions, attended the seminar.
Dr Singh said that BSB operates as a financially and administratively autonomous body under the sponsorship of Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust and is governed by the Bhartiya Shiksha Board Society. Its curriculum has been approved by NCERT and is aligned with the objectives and framework suggested in NEP, 2020 and NCFSE, 2023.
