Hyderabad: An engineering dropout and his friend, both unemployed, who used to get high on LSD blots and began selling them as well after procuring them from Goa, were nabbed by the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing and the Abid Road police at Nampally Metro Rail Station here on Thursday. Police seized 5 LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) blots and 2 mobile phones, altogether worth Rs.50,000 from them.
The arrested persons were A.Sai Kiran (26) an BTech dropout from Dilsukhnagar and K.Aravind (23), his friend from Lalapet.
Police said Sai Kiran procured LSD blots from Goa during his visits to the beaches there and sold them to customers in Hyderabad with the help of Aravind. In January, Sai Kiran bought 6 LSD blots from his source in Goa and after consuming one, saved the rest to be sold.
Following a tip-off, the police caught them while they were waiting with the blots at Nampally to be sold to customers.
They were handed over to the Abid Road police for further investigation.
