Building owner arrested in Anjaiah Nagar collapse case
Raidurgam police arrested Syed Sajid, owner of the under-construction building that collapsed at Anjaiah Nagar, killing two workers and injuring two others. Contractor Khaja Moinuddin, who was also booked under BNS Section 105, remains absconding.
Hyderabad: The Raidurgam police on Monday arrested Syed Sajid, owner of the under-construction building that collapsed at Anjaiah Nagar on Saturday, killing two workers and injuring two others. Contractor Khaja Moinuddin, who was also booked in connection with the incident, is absconding, police said.
Police registered a case against Sajid and Moinuddin under Section 105 of the BNS, against Sajid and Moinuddin following the incident. Following Sajid’s arrest, police have launched efforts to trace and apprehend the absconding contractor.
