Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police contacted their Mumbai counterparts and sought details about the persons arrested in connection with the Bulli Bai app case.
The Mumbai Police had arrested an engineering student from Bengaluru and another woman from Uttarakhand in connection with the case. One more person, Mayank Rawal, was also arrested in the case. “We contacted the Mumbai Police and informed about the cases registered in Hyderabad. They are expected to share more details with us about the case after the initial probe. Based on that, our team will go to Mumbai for further action,” a senior official said.
Two cases were registered here, one at the Hyderabad Cybercrime Police station and another in Cyberabad, after two women approached the police saying their names were listed on the app due to which they faced humiliation and online harassment.
