Hyderabad: The Mailardevpally police on Saturday arrested one person who was involved in three burglaries. The police recovered property worth Rs 4 lakh at his instance.
The arrested, Mohammed Kamil alias Azhar (27) of Owaisi Hills allegedly broke into a house on May 27 and decamped with gold and silver ornaments. On a complaint from Fahmeeda Begum, the police booked a case and during the investigation, caught Azhar. “Azhar identified a house and befriended the family members. He regularly visited their house and gathered information about the family going out and after they left, he broke into the house and stole valuables,” N Sanjay Kumar, ACP (Rajendra Nagar), said, adding that he was previously involved in two cases in Mailardevpally police station.
