Medak: Liquor, plenty of it actually, was something this alleged burglar could not resist. In the end, it did him in as well. The man, suspected to be a migrant worker and who was yet to be identified by the police, had allegedly broken into a wine shop at Narsingi mandal headquarters.

According the police, seeing all the liquor bottles there, the burglar succumbed to temptation and began helping himself. The exact quantity of liquor he guzzled is yet to be ascertained, but the fellow got sozzled and fell unconscious. He was found lying inside the shop on Monday morning, when the owner, Parsha Goud, opened the shutters.
