Burglar involved in 90 cases held in Hyderabad

Police said Mohd Ibrahim Siddiqui (56), a resident of Yellareddyguda in SR Nagar, started committing burglaries in 1990 and was last arrested in 2019

Hyderabad: The KPHB police arrested a burglar involved in about 90 cases in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh here late on Monday. Police recovered gold and silver ornaments, altogether worth Rs 10.2 lakh from him.

Police said Mohd Ibrahim Siddiqui (56), a resident of Yellareddyguda in SR Nagar, started committing burglaries in 1990 and was last arrested in 2019. After being released from jail, he continued to break into houses and steal valuables.
