Nalgonda: About 30 passengers escaped unhurt when a bus in which they were traveling rammed into a roadside shop near Nalgonda Cross road at Narketpally in Nalgonda district in the early hours of Sunday.

The bus, operated by Kaveri travels, was going to Hyderabad from Ongole. The driver lost control over the wheels and rammed the vehicle into a roadside shop at 4 am. Since no one was present in the shop, a major mishap was averted. About 30 passengers were travelling in the bus at the time of the incident.

Police suspect that speeding coupled with the driver dozing off could have caused the accident. Narketpally police filed a case and took up the investigation.
