Bus rams into students at bus-stop, two Inter students injured in Medak
Akhila (17) and Vijaya (17), intermediate students from a college in Medak town, regularly traveled by bus from Narsingi to Medak. The incident occurred while they were waiting at the bus stop. Following the event, the Papannapet police detained the bus driver for further investigation.
Medak: Two intermediate girl students sustained serious injuries when an RTC driver lost control of the bus and the vehicle hit them while they were waiting for a bus at Narsingi crossroads in Papannapet mandal on Monday.
The victims Akhila (17) and Vijaya (17) were studying intermediate in a college in Medak town. They usually take a bus from Narsingi to reach Medak every day. While they were waiting to board the bus, the incident happened. The Papannapet police took the bus driver into custody. The injured students were rushed to the government hospital in Medak for treatment. The condition of one of them is said to be critical. A case was registered.
