Bus-tractor crash leaves 30 injured in Siddipet

At least 30 persons were injured when an RTC bus collided with a tractor at Timmareddipally in Kondapak mandal. Around 20 migrant workers travelling on the tractor sustained serious injuries

Siddipet: At least 30 persons sustained injuries as an RTC bus hit a tractor on Rajiv Rahadari at Timmareddipally in Kondapak mandal on Friday evening. While 20 migrant workers travelling in the tractor sustained serious injuries, several passengers on board the RTC bus also suffered minor injuries.

The Siddipet depot bus was proceeding towards Siddipet town from Hyderabad when the incident occurred. While 30 migrant workers working in a poultry farm at Timmareddipaly were on their way back to farm from Kukunoorpally after purchasing vegetables in a local market, the bus hit the tractor when it was taking a ‘U’ turn.

The injured were rushed to a government hospital in Siddipet. The condition of several of them is said to be critical. Police have registered a case.
