Siddipet: Former Minister T Harish Rao said business had come to a halt in the State after the Congress came to power.

Addressing the party cadre during a preparatory meeting in Gajwel on Sunday ahead of the BRS Silver Jubilee meeting, Harish Rao said a youngster, who met him recently in Siddipet, was inconsolable as he could not mobilise funds to provide treatment to his ailing mother. He said the youngster could not sell his lands even after months of efforts as business had come to a total halt in Siddipet town. It was not just in Siddipet, everyone was struggling in the State after the Congress came to power. People were now ready to dethrone Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy if elections were conducted at any time from now, he said.
