Businessman murdered in Hyderabad’s old city
He was rushed to Osmania General Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead
Hyderabad: A businessman was murdered by some persons reportedly over financial disputes at Misrigunj road in the old city on Thursday evening.
According to the police, the victim Syed Mukaram (45) a resident of Chunne ki Bathi at Misrigunj road was sitting near his house when some persons came to him and started a discussion.
“An argument ensued between them during which the assailants repeatedly stabbed Mukaram with knives. He was rushed to Osmania General Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” said G Bhiksham Reddy, ACP (Charminar). Preliminary enquiries revealed that Mukaram’s younger brother had financial disputes with some persons in regard to his cloth business. Mukaram had previously intervened to resolve the issue. The police suspect the dispute to have led to the murder. Special teams have been formed to track down the assailants.
