Karimnagar: Bala Vikasa Samithi, a non-governmental organisation, in association with Gland Pharma Limited donated seven ventilators to the district headquarters hospital in Karimnagar on Saturday. With the initiative of TS Planning Board Vice-Chairman B Vinod Kumar, the representatives of Gland Pharma handed over the ventilators to District Collector K Shashanka at his camp office here.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, ventilators would help to protect the lives of the people. He also instructed hospital superintendent Rathnamala to install them in the hospital at the earliest and provide ventilator facility to the needy patients. DRDA Project Director Srilatha, gland pharma representatives Capt K Raghuram and SP Kishore were present.
