Hyderabad: The Cabinet Sub-Committee on Dharani has finalised new modules to be incorporated in the portal, a one-stop destination for agriculture land transactions, after getting approval from Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
The new modules were finalised after collecting feedback from the people and discussing with the officials concerned. The modules would resolve a majority of technical issues while carrying out various transactions on the portal.
The sub-committee examined 34 different types of problems being faced by the people. After studying every issue in detail, the committee identified 11 grievances and finalised over half a dozen new modules to enable property buyers to carry out transactions without any problems.
To another issue on the delay in returning money to those who could not complete their transactions after booking a slot on the portal, the sub-committee has asked officials to return the amount without further delay.
A solution is also expected to the crucial issue pertaining to prohibited lands. Citizens are presently performing transactions pertaining to the sale, gift, partition, succession, mortgage, mutation and Non-Agricultural Lands Assessment Act (NALA) conversion among others, through the portal.
