Hyderabad:  Canara Bank recorded and eight -wicket win against Food Corporation of India in the final of the HCA D-Division one-day league cricket championship here on Monday.

Batting first, FCI scored 113 in 26.2 overs with V. Shathakani (36) being the top-scorer while G. Srinivas Rao (four for 17) being the main wicket-taker.


In reply, Canara Bank reached home in 23 overs thanks to fine knocks by M. Eshwar (56 n.o.) and N. Praveen Kumar (31 n.o.).

The scores: Final: FCI 113 in 26.2 overs (V. Shathakarni 36, S. Nikhil Kumar 3/42, G. Srinivas Rao 4/17) lost to Canara Bank 114/2 in 23 overs (M. Eshwar 56 no, N. Praveen Kumar 31 no).
