Siddipet: Siddipet Collector K Hymavathi directed the officials to cancel Indiramma houses earlier granted to beneficiaries if they were not willing to build the houses according to the guidelines.
After a surprise visit to the Kondapak MPDO office on Friday, the Collector found that 237 houses out of 273 granted to Kondapak mandal had been grounded so far. After enquiring about the reason for the delay in grounding the remaining houses, Hymavathi directed the MPDO to serve notices to those who were delaying the grounding and allot the same houses to other needy persons.
She directed the MPDO to speed up the work of Indiramma houses. Earlier, she also inspected the Tahsildar office and enquired about the disbursal of applications received during the revenue sadassulu. Tahsildar Shyam, MPDO Venkateshwarlu and others were present.
