Hyderabad: Candidates mentored by Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat and his team excelled in the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2020, conducted by the union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
While 187 candidates were recommended by the UPSC on Tuesday for appointment to the posts of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces viz., Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), 22 were mentored by the top cop.
Among the top rankers include Yadav Bhavna Subhash at the 14th position, while Kiran Saiempu from Warangal, a civil engineering graduate from IIT Delhi bagged the 15th position. Similarly, Ramkumar Bhukya of Khammam district, a CSE graduate from the IIT BHU secured the 149th position.
Last year, over 30 candidates mentored by the Rachakonda top cop successfully cleared the CAPF exam. Similarly, about 150 candidates trained by Bhagwat for interviews (personality test) of the Civil Services Examination 2020 had successfully cracked the exam.
