Hyderabad: Some candidates who turned up to attend an interview for assistant warden position at Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) staged a protest on the university campus here on Friday, alleging that varsity cancelled the interviews without prior notice.
The protesters said they had received a notification for the interview on Friday. However, upon arriving at the university, they were informed that the interviews had been cancelled. They demanded that interviews be conducted as per the original notification.
According to sources, a notification to postpone the interviews was posted on the university website around three to four days ago. “There might have been a communication gap between candidates and university that led to protest,” sources added.
