Cantonment MLA Sri Ganesh assaulted near Osmania University

The MLA managed to leave the scene and went to the Osmania University police station to file a complaint.

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed for a while in Tarnaka after a group of people allegedly attacked Cantonment MLA, Sri Ganesh, on Sunday evening.

The MLA was on his way to Manikeshwari Nagar to attend a Bonalu-related program when a group of unknown individuals on bikes allegedly waylaid the car the MLA was travelling in and attacked the MLA and his personal security officer (PSO).

The MLA managed to leave the scene and went to the Osmania University police station to file a complaint.

When contacted, a senior police official stated that they are verifying the complaint and based on the findings, suitable action will be taken.

It is learnt, a few individuals who were drunk had misbehaved with the MLA and his gunman near RTC Hospital on Osmania University Road.
