Hyderabad: New Delhi witnessed a special cinematic moment this weekend (July 27 and July 28) as Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the much-discussed historical action drama starring actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, drew packed audience at the Andhra Pradesh Bhavan.
Two exclusive shows were arranged for Telugu families in the capital, with the Dr B R Ambedkar Auditorium turning into a theatre for the occasion. Saturday night’s screening saw a full house, with cheers and claps echoing through the hall during the film’s key moments.
Officials at AP Bhavan said the screenings were planned to let Telugus in Delhi experience the grandeur of the film together. “It felt like a festival inside,” said one delighted viewer after the show.
The second screening will take place on Sunday evening. Directed by Krish and AM Jyothi Krishna, and produced by AM Rathnam, the film features Nidhhi Agerwal and Bobby Deol, with music by MM Keeravani. For fans, it was more than a film, it was a celebration of Telugu cinema in the heart of Delhi.
