Hyderabad: A car at your doorstep within minutes? Try Zepto. The e-commerce company that has a 10-minute delivery policy for groceries, daily essentials and electronics, has now added cars to its list.
The Bengaluru-based company has partnered with carmaker Skoda to bring car delivery to its platform.
To company released a teaser ad on social media with the caption, “Humare pass mixer hai, phone hai, tablet hai, aur abb…… Coming soon on 8th Feb!.”

The quirky advertisement shows a Zepto delivery agent entering a Skoda showroom, ‘picking up’ his order, loading it on a truck and leaving for delivery.
The ad features a Skoda Kilak but the company says it can also deliver other models such as the Slavia C sedan and the Kushaq C SUV.
Though Zepto is known for its 10-minute delivery policy, the car delivery service might take a little longer time.
While some of the netizens were excited about the initiative others criticised the idea.
“I would rather suggest to deliver the cars quickly to the people who have booked it … it’s a good initiative but customer satisfaction is priority… people have been waiting and also deliver the base models too… not only prestige one. I hope this is acknowledged,” said an Instagram user.
“Next – flying chopper ?” quirkily questioned another.
“This idea will fail! because buying a car is an emotion, not a vegetable that you can buy everyday. everyone has time to visit showroom and buy new car. its not something that you do everyday” (sic), wrote another Instagrammer.
After delivering the iPhone 16 within minutes, this is the major update Zepto has made till now. At present, Zepto operates in 10 metro cities across India, including Hyderabad.
