Hyderabad: A car crashed into a vacant house in Hayathnagar on the city outskirts here in the wee hours on Sunday. No casualties were reported. Police suspect rash and negligent driving led to the accident.
The accident happened when the driver who reportedly was in an inebriated condition was driving the car from the outskirts to the city lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the house on the roadside on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway.
The local residents and other motorists who noticed it alerted the police. The Hayathnagar police visited the spot and are investigating.
