Watch: Car goes up in flames on Hyderabad’s Expressway
According to the police, a woman was driving the car when she noticed flames emanating from the engine.
Hyderabad: Fire broke out in a Maruti Swift car on PVNR Expressway at Attapur on Monday morning. No casualties were reported in the incident.
According to the police, a woman was driving the car when she noticed flames emanating from the engine. Motorists who were travelling on the PVNR Expressway rushed to her rescue and helped her get out of the car. Before the fire tenders could reach, the fire spread and the car was gutted.
A fire tender reached the spot in a little while and doused the flames. The police suspect the fire might have been triggered by a short circuit.
Investigation is on.
