Hyderabad: Breaking thousands of car lovers’ hearts, Volkswagen announced that Polo will no longer be available for sale in the Indian market from this June.

The German manufacturer took to social media to make this announcement by sharing a good-bye letter written by Polo resulting in scores of social media users expressing grief over the news.

“The sun sets on #Polo’s time in India. It’s a good thing I have tons of fond memories to fall back on!” tweets one of the social media users.

“This is sad! You will always be the only love! I still end up turning around whenever I see a #Polo – True Beauty!!” tweets another.

The hatchback car was first launched 12 years ago and has since been a front runner in the market.
