Hyderabad: A car went out of control and hit two pedestrians, killing them on the spot at Banjara Hills Road No.12, late night on Sunday. 

The incident occurred when the victims, identified as Ayodhya Ram and his friend, both employees at a private hospital, were crossing the road.


Police said the car driven by one Rohith, the owner of a real estate firm mowed them down, killing them on the spot. 

The police have booked a case of negligence causing death and are investigating if Rohith was driving in an inebriated condition. 

The bodies were shifted to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for  autopsy.
