Hyderabad: The Chilkalguda police on Saturday booked a case against journalist Naveen Kumar alias Teenmaar Mallanna on charges of making derogatory comments against astrologer Lakshmikant Sharma Swamiji. Following a complaint, a case of threatening and offensive remarks was booked and investigation is on. Naveen Kumar, who recently contested and lost as an Independent candidate in the Graduates MLC polls, allegedly made derogatory comments on his YouTube channel. Irked by this, supporters of Sharma staged a protest at various places in the city condemning the allegations.
