Case booked against AIMIM workers over alleged threats to Congress activists in Balapur
Balapur police have registered a case against a group of AIMIM workers following allegations by a Congress worker that he and other party activists were threatened during two election-related incidents in Wadi-e-Saleheen. Police have launched an investigation into the complaint.

Hyderabad: The Balapur police registered a case against a group of AIMIM workers after a Congress party worker alleged that he was threatened with dire consequences during two separate incidents linked to election-related activities in Wadi-e-Saleheen, Shaheen Nagar.
According to the police, Syed Niyaz, (34), a Congress party worker and resident of Wadi-e-Saleheen, alleged that on June 30, while he was at the party office attending election-related work, local leader of AIMIM party, Mohd. Abdulla Sadiq, accompanied by several AIMIM workers, allegedly arrived at the office and threatened to burn it down if it was not removed. He further alleged that they threatened him with a knife, abused the Congress party in-charge in foul language and warned Congress workers not to enter the area.
The complainant also alleged that on July 1, while Congress workers, including 64th Division BLAS in-charge Fazil Qadri, were carrying out a door-to-door election campaign near the party office, Thaleb and several AIMIM workers allegedly confronted them, abused them and threatened them with dire consequences.
Following the complaint, Balapur police registered case has been taken up for investigation by the police.
