Hyderabad: Telugu actor Nithiin had announced his next project called ‘Macharla Niyojakavargam’ on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi. Now, the film, which is touted to be an action thriller, is being shot at a brisk pace under the direction of MS Rajashekhar Reddy.
Today, the makers of the film ‘Macharla Niyojakavargam’, have officially announced the inclusion of actor Catherine Tresa in the Nithiin-starrer.
Although the film has touted ‘Uppena’ actor Krithi Shetty as the female lead, it is still unknown what role Catherine would play in the film. However, the makers previously revealed that actor Nithiin will be seen playing the role of a politician belonging to a powerful political family in the film.
Catherine took to her Twitter handle to share her excitement about joining the film. “Excited to be working with @SreshthMovies and @actor_nithiin!!! See you in theatres on the 29th of April 2022(sic),” the actor wrote.
The film, produced by Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy under Sreshth Movies banner, is scheduled to be released on April 29, 2022, as a summer holiday treat for the audience.
Catherine Tresa, who shot into the limelight among the Telugu audience with her 2013 film ‘Iddarammayilatho’ along with Allu Arjun and Amala Paul, was seen in films like ‘Sarrainodu’, ‘Nene Raju Nene Manthri’ and recently in the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer in ‘World Famous Lover’.
Several of her fans wonder if the actor will play a politician once again like in the film ‘Sarrainodu’. However, the makers have not spilled any beans on Catherine’s role in the upcoming flick.
This is the first time association for both the heroines with actor Nithiin.
Director MS Raja Shekhar Reddy has prepared a powerful script to present Nithiin in a never-seen-before action role in the film. Billed to be a pucca mass and commercial entertainer with political elements, the movie also boasts of stellar cast and will have leading craftsmen working for it.
Music composer Mahati Swara Sagar collaborates with Nithiin for the third time, after ‘Bheeshma’ and ‘Maestro’. Prasad Murella cranks the camera, while Mamidala Thirupathi provides dialogues and Sahi Suresh is the art director. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor.
