CBIT hosts Mechanical and Production Engineering alumni meet
CBIT organised the Mechanical and Production Engineering Alumni Meet 2026 in Hyderabad, bringing together alumni, faculty and students. The event focused on industry insights, career guidance and strengthening alumni connections through interactive sessions and knowledge sharing.

Hyderabad: Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) organised the Mechanical and Production Engineering Alumni Meet and Connect 2026, bringing together alumni, faculty and students for an engaging and insightful interaction.
The event was held under the guidance of Principal Prof C V Narasimhulu (Chairman – IACC) and Advisor Prof Suresh Pabboju (Convener – IACC). The programme was coordinated by Dr G Laxmaiah, Head of the Mechanical Department, along with Dr B V S Rao, Assistant Professor, as co-coordinator.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Narasimhulu emphasised that alumni play a vital role as ambassadors of the institution, inspiring students through their achievements and contributing to the institute’s development.
Alumni from various batches participated enthusiastically, sharing their professional experiences, industry insights and career guidance with students. The interaction offered valuable exposure to real-world challenges and emerging trends in the field.
Faculty members presented the department’s academic accomplishments, ongoing initiatives and future plans. Interactive sessions on internships, career opportunities and industry expectations were also conducted.
The event served as a strong platform to reinforce the bond between CBIT and its alumni, encouraging continued collaboration, mentorship and growth.
