Celebrating the icons of Telugu literature
Teachers and students presented the essence of the eternal Telugu literature, elements of focus, poetry, rhetoric speeches with vibrant costumes

Delhi Public School, Nadergul celebrated Telugu Day on December 29 with great literary fervour and joy. The celebrations titled ‘Telugu Saahityotsavam’ began with the lamp lightening ceremony followed by a melodious recital of prayer ‘Ma Telugu Thalliki..’ in the voices of the school choir.
The exhibition covered themes and presentations from the earliest poetic period to the Srinathani period and the Prabandha period i.e. the octogenarians in the court of Sri Krishna Devaraya and from there to the centenarian poets and the modern poets like Sri Sri. The objective of the event was to cherish the importance of Telugu literature and provide a platform for the children to perform.
Teachers and students presented the essence of the eternal Telugu literature, elements of focus, poetry, rhetoric speeches with vibrant costumes and dialects made the event an extra-ordinarily informative and an eye-feasting one. Students and teachers were complimented for wonderful and active participation by the school Principal Padma Jyoti, Vice-Principal Kiran Khanna and Head Mistress Anuradha Vinay complimented students and teachers for their participation.
