Celebrity fitness coach shares easy protein-rich snacks for busy professionals
Celebrity fitness coach Siddhartha Singh shared a list of protein-rich snacks that working professionals can easily carry to offices. From Greek yogurt and fruit to protein bars and sachets, the suggestions aim to help people avoid unhealthy snacking during hectic work schedules.
Hyderabad: Long work hours, traffic-filled commutes and packed schedules often leave little time for balanced meals, making unhealthy snacking a common habit among working professionals. Celebrity fitness coach Siddhartha Singh recently shared a list of quick protein-rich snacks that can be carried easily in office bags for days when proper meals are difficult to find.
One of the first snacks he recommends is a protein bar. While Siddhartha mentions that he is “not a very big fan of protein bars,” he says they can still be useful during extremely busy days. According to him, these snacks work best “in times when you don’t have anything to eat.” Compact and easy to carry, protein bars can help prevent reaching for fried or sugary snacks during long work hours.
Protein Ladoos as a Backup Snack
Protein ladoos also made it to his list, though with a word of caution. Siddhartha points out that some versions may contain more calories than expected for the amount of protein they offer. “Keep it as a snack when you can’t find anything around you that is even minutely healthy,” he explains. Even so, they can still serve as a better alternative to processed junk food during hectic days.
Greek Yogurt and Fruit for Longer Fullness
Calling it his favourite option, Siddhartha recommends pairing Greek yogurt with fruit. “This combination is going to keep you fuller for longer,” he says, explaining that the mix of protein, carbohydrates and fibre makes it more satisfying and balanced compared to regular packaged snacks.
Protein Sachets for Convenience
As an added tip, he suggests carrying single-serve protein powder sachets while travelling. “No matter where you are, you can always find water,” he says, calling it one of the easiest ways to quickly add protein to the diet during busy schedules.
