Celestial wedding of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy being peformed at Komuravelly in Siddipet
Siddipet: The celestial wedding of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy, Komuravelly was performed with his consorts Kethala Devi and Medala Devi following the temple traditions on Sunday. A huge number of devotees from across the State thronged the temple to witness the annual Kalyanam.
The wedding was performed in the presence of Jagdguru Mallikarjuna Vishwvaradhya Shiva Charya.
Jangaon MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and other leaders and officials witnessed the celestial wedding while the silk vastrams (clothes) on behalf of the State government were performed by officials.

The temple management made available 60,000 laddu prasadams and 5 quintals of pulihora (tamarind rice) expecting a huge turn of devotees. The temple premises were illuminated colourfully on the occasion of the special day.
