Central Bank of India launches Bharat Connect for Business for digital B2B payments
Central Bank of India has launched Bharat Connect for Business in partnership with NPCI Bharat BillPay, becoming the first public sector bank to offer the platform. The initiative enables digital invoicing, payments, collections and settlements for businesses.

Hyderabad: Central Bank of India has become the first public sector bank to launch ‘Bharat Connect for Business’, in partnership with NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd. (NBBL), marking a significant step towards strengthening India’s digital B2B payments ecosystem.
The initiative was launched in the presence of Kalyan Kumar, MD & CEO, Central Bank of India, and Noopur Chaturvedi, MD & CEO, NBBL, at the NPCI Pavilion at Global Fintech Fest 2026.
The platform offers businesses an integrated digital solution to generate invoices, make and receive payments, and manage collections and settlements, enabling secure and seamless transactions between buyers, sellers and banks, a press release said.
The new initiative is expected to particularly benefit MSMEs and businesses by simplifying digital transactions and improving efficiency through technology-driven financial solutions, it added.
