Central Gurudwara Sahib Gowliguda to celebrate centenary on September 19, 20
Central Gurudwara Sahib Gowliguda will celebrate its centenary with religious programmes on September 19 and 20. The celebrations will include a Vishesh Kirtan Darbar, Amrit Sanchar and a main Vishaal Diwan at Exhibition Grounds, with Sikh religious leaders attending.

Hyderabad: A century of faith and selfless service will come alive this weekend as the historic Central Gurudwara Sahib Gowliguda celebrates its centenary with a series of religious programmes on September 19 and 20.
Founded in 1926, the Gurudwara has been an integral part of Hyderabad’s social and spiritual landscape for 100 years.
The Central Gurudwara Sahib Gowliguda (CGSG) Prabhandak Committee President, S Trilok Singh, said the main Centenary programme, ‘Vishaal Diwan ’, will be at Exhibition Grounds on September 20 with Ragi Jathas and preachers, including Bhai Jagjeet Singh Babiha of Delhi, Bhai Balpreet Singh of Ludhiana, Bhai Jagpreet Singh Khannewale and Bhai Ravinder Singh, rendering Shabad Kirtan.
Singh Sahib Sant Baba Kulwant Singhji, Jathedar (Head Priest) of Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib, Nanded, and Sant Baba Balwinder Singhji, Hazur Sahib Wale, associated with Gurudwara Langar Sahib, Nanded, Baba Teja Singhji (Jathedar, Gurdwara Mata Sahib Devan Ji, Nanded), Harmeet Singh Kalka, President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Surinderpal Singh Saluja, and other prominent Sikh personalities will participate in the centenary events.
A Vishesh Kirtan Darbar will be organised at Central Gurudwara Sahib Gowliguda on September 19, apart from an Amrit Sanchar (holy baptism). During the event, Guru Ka Langar (free community kitchen) will be served to all the devotees.
