Nalgonda: TRS MLC Gutha Sukhender Reddy on Monday alleged that the Modi government has conspired to dilute federal spirit of democracy of India by bringing amendments to central service rules.

Speaking at a media conference on Monday, Sukhender Reddy said that the BJP government has been taking the decisions against the federal spirit with an intension to drab the powers of the State governments. It was also dictating BC, SC and ST Commissions to act on its behest.

MLC questioned as to whether Covid norms would not applicable to the BJP State president and MP Bandi Sanjay. Stating that the police should act as per the situations, he pointed out that AP police also stormed the home of veteran Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham and arrested him in 2016.

The BJP leaders should keep the facts in mind before talking, he cautioned. Bandi Sanjay has right to complain to the Privilege Committee of Lok Sabha, if he faced any raw deal. But, it was not proper on part of the BJP leaders to drag National BC Commission into the controversy.

Stating that both Congress and BJP were working with a common agenda of tarnishing the image of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, he said that GO No 317 was brought by the state government after a thorough study of the subject.

The state government took a decision on zonal system as per the Presidential Order, he added. Stating that the State government has been running 690 residential schools to make the quality education accessible to the poor students, he said that it seems that BJP leaders were not liked the decision of the State government to introduce English medium in all government run schools.

said that Congress party was facing a critical time in the state, he said that the dreams of the Congress leaders to come to power in the next elections would not materialize. He reminded that the state government has decided to introduce English medium in all primary schools from the next academic year and to spend Rs 7,289 crore for development of infrastructure in schools.

The MLAs and MLCs have been directed by the Chief Minister to allocate 40 per cent of their Constituency Development Fund for the purpose of development of government schools. Nalgonda Zilla Parishad Chairman Banda Narender Reddy and others were present.
