Centre extends last date for National Merit Scholarships up to Nov 30

This is applicable to all students who passed intermediate education for fresh and renewal of applications for the scholarships for the academic year 2020-21, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) said, in a press release, on Thursday

Hyderabad: The Union Ministry of Education has extended the last date for fresh applications and renewals for the National Merit Scholarships, up to November 30.

This is applicable to all students who passed intermediate education for fresh and renewal of applications for the scholarships for the academic year 2020-21, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) said, in a press release, on Thursday

The last date for institutions for verification and defective application verification is December 15. Students can apply through the website http://scholarships.gov.in and the list of provisionally selected candidates 52,740 will be available on the TS BIE website https://tsbie.cgg.gov.in/

For renewal of the scholarships, the authority has approved the relaxation of minimum passing marks criteria and all students who have been promoted to next year/semester are eligible for renewal of applications under the scheme for the academic year 2020-21 only, the TS BIE added.
