Hyderabad: State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday said the Central government was giving funds for taking up various development works in the State.

Participating in an election campaign at Maachinapalli and other villages in Huzurabad Assembly constituency, he said the development of Huzurabad would be possible only with the BJP. On completion of administering Covid-19 vaccines to 100 crore people on Thursday, he said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should get the credit for his relentless efforts in administering the free vaccine to people across the country.

The Prime Minister decided to administer the free vaccine to people keeping in mind the problems faced by poor people. Sanjay also thanked the frontline warriors mainly from the health, municipal and police departments that came to the rescue of people during difficult times after Covid set in.

BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind, who addressed roadshows in Huzurabad constituency, demanded that the State government allocate 2BHKs houses to eligible persons. The Central government was giving funds for the construction of houses for the poor people in the country, he claimed.

Meanwhile, BJP leader and film actress Vijayashanthi termed Dalit Bandhu scheme as an illusion that will not be implemented. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao would not implement the scheme after the election. There were 40,000 SC voters in Huzurabad constituency. In order to get SC votes in Huzurabad by-polls, Chandrashekhar Rao launched Dalit Bandhu scheme, she said.
