Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and wife Dhanashree Verma spark divorce speculation as they unfollow each other on Instagram, amid changing relationship dynamics
Hyderabad: Giving strength to the rumours that all is not well between actor-choreographer Dhanushree Verma and cricketer husband Yuzvendra Chahal, the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Chahal also deleted pictures with Dhanushree. According to unconfirmed media reports, the divorce rumours are said to be true. While the exact reason for their separation are not known, both have decided to move on.
Though Chahal on several occasions in the past dismissed rumours that they are going to divorce, the issue started gaining traction in 2023 after Dhanashree dropped ‘Chahal’ from her name on Instagram. This change came a day after Yuzvendra shared a cryptic Instagram story that read, “New life loading.”
Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Chahal married on December 11, 2020. The choreographer also shared her love story on popular show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11.
“During the lockdown no matches were happening and all the cricketers were sitting at home and getting frustrated. During that time Chahal decided one fine day that he wants to learn dance. I used to teach dance and he approached me to be my student. I agreed to teach him.”
