Hyderabad: A youngster, who allegedly snatched a gold chain from a woman at LB Nagar, was arrested along with the person to whom he sold the chain on Sunday.
The arrested person, J Shiva Prasad (21), a resident of Vanasthalipuram and native of Prakasam in Andhra Pradesh, allegedly snatched the chain from a woman, Swapna, on Friday. Though the victim tried to foil his attempt, Shiva Prasad succeeded in breaking off a small part of the chain and escaped from the spot, police said.
The police nabbed him on Sunday along with Chetan Kumar of Vanasthalipuram who bought the chain from Shiva Prasad.
