Chalk out plans for tourism development: Srinivas Goud

Hyderabad: Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud instructed officials on Thursday to chalk out plans for developing tourism and heritage spots in the State.
The Minister convened a meeting with archeological and tourism department officials at Ravindra Bharati here on Thursday and reviewed the progress of different works.
Alampur MLA Dr. Abraham, who also participated in the meeting, thanked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Tourism Minister V. Srinivas Goud for sanctioning Rs.37 crore to take up development works at Sri Jogulamba temple and adjoining areas.
He appealed to the Minister to lay the foundation for the first phase works to be taken up with a cost of Rs.20 crore. The Minister said the works would commence in the first week of next month and directed tourism officials to make necessary arrangements.
