Chittoor: Former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party national president N. Chandrababu Naidu was seen fretting and fuming at local people in his home constituency of Kuppam in the district during his visit on Thursday.

Upset by the defeat during the recent MPTC and municipal elections in Kuppam, he accused them of getting sold away for a thousand or two thousand rupees to vote against him, and reminded them that the TDP was in power for 2 years and he could have given them any amount of money if only he wanted. “But to me, values are important. You did a mistake by selling youself for money,” he was said to have remarked.

Chandrababu was also sore against the TDP leaders and workers in Kuppam and said he was aware how some of them cheated the party. He would not spare them, he warned.
