Vijayawada: The Telugu Desam Party national president N. Chandrababu Naidu has demanded the state government to cancel the jumbo board for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) which was constituted with 81 members hurting public sentiment’. In a letter addressed to Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday, he advised the former not to misuse the TTD for political and personal advantage. He alleged that the Board was turned into a rehabilitation centre for the politically unemployed and condemned nomination oftainted’ persons. He also said conversion of the holy Seven Hills into a hub of commercial activity was regrettable. Noting that no other Chief Minister in the past had even thought of constituting such a jumbo-sized board, Chandrababu said that a new board should be set up respecting the traditions and sentiments of the devotees.
